Peter Mulberry has over 30 years experience modifying and rebuilding sports and racing cars.
Peters' introduction to racing was with sidecars in the late sixties.
Then working with Rob Wells at Libramotive in London in the 1970's was his first introduction to Morgans.
After the Modsports Morgan won the STP championship in 1980, Peter left to specialise in the preparation of sports and racing cars in north west London.
This proved very successful, running the Marcos GT of Richard Gamble and the Ginetta G4 of John Digby in Modsports winning the championship outright for the next 6 years.
During this time he also managed to win the 1982 Alfa Romeo Championship with his own roadcar, albeit with Richard Gamble driving.
He also ran Malcolm Paul in his Chevron B8 in the Historic GT series and subsequently in Sports 2000 (Malcolm was second in Class B in 1986 and Class B champion in 1987) and then with a Tiga/Hart Group 6 in Thundersports.
Soon after Malcolm returned to Morgan racing with the +8 ROB 8R (maintained by Peter) campaigning both the Morgan Challenge and the 750 Motor Club Roadsports series with much success.
During 1994 Peter and his wife Mary relocated to the Midlands and working out of John Eales premises, built and ran the Morgan +8 for Klaus Nesbach which won the 1995 Morgan Challenge series.
Also finding the time to spend four years fabricating for Ralliart- the World Championship Rally Team, Mulberry Fabrications was born.
Now concentrating more on the fabrication side we have a well equipped workshop with capacity to undertake most projects in house.
Simon Hall joined Mulberry Fabrications in October 2009, after nearly ten years working for the well known Morgan dealer Richard Thorne Classic Cars.
Whilst at RTCC Simon was responsible for amongst other things the design, fabrication and build of many class and championship winning cars including the Britcar 24hr Aero8 and the Britcar 24hr Roadster GT.
